A twenty-something fan of all things sartorial, I'm easily over-excited and rarely short of breath.

Today I am Wearing:

Black Uniqlo skinny jeans, white silk blouse, nude/beige blazer, black ballet flats, gold half-moon necklace & "gold" watch.

PLUS: Barry M "Instant Effects" nail varnish in black with a gold basecoat - the Barry M cracks as it dries to give a leopard-print effect*. If viewed from a distance.

*I know that this is in no way a new product. But I just got it. And I love it.

Today I Am Disappointed By:

Revlon Grey Suede nail varnish
Bought this hoping that it would be a more glamorous, mink version of Chanel's Particuliere. I was wrong. It looks as if I have painted on some nicotine stains.

Today I Am Wearing:

This outfit reflects my mood today: black. Apparently, my wisdom teeth have decided that developing in a vertical direction is just not good enough and have instead chosen to grow horizontally. To add insult to injury, the "emergency" hospital procedure that will remove them won't be scheduled for at least two weeks.

There's only one solution: painkiller cocktails. White wine, penicillin, ibuprofen and co-codamol. And soup. Lots and lots of soup.

Today I Am Wearing:

Have reached a distressing conclusion: I am physically unable to wear peep-toe shoes. That's right people. I suffer from pokey-toe. It's a debilitating affliction.

Tomorrow I Will Be Wearing:

First day back at work after the holidays
Desired appearance: Diane Kruger meets Ali McGraw. Most likely appearance: deranged harpy meets crack addict. It's been a few days since I had to get up early in the morning.

Decided to be super efficient and post this early so as to shave valuable seconds off my morning mad-dash-and-grab routine (wake up to seventeenth snooze cycle on alarm, leap from cosy den of warmth beneath my duvet, dive into shower/brush teeth simultaneously, throw on clothes in random order, grab keys, leave house, apply makeup at selected intervals on the bus, use toilet on arrival at office).
